Hi I’m Aree, and I’ve worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years. I was introduced to permanent makeup by a highly respected cosmetic surgeon. After much research I became fully-qualified in permanent makeup and microblading, and fell in love with helping people look their very best selves.
I pride myself on the highest standards of care and service for each and every client.
The results of my work reflects my true artistic ability. I truly love what I do. The passion I feel for my work is apparent for every single client, and their wonderfully positive feedback and the smiles on their faces satisfiy my soul.
Whether you pencil in your brows daily due to years of over-plucking, suffer from hair loss and feel uncomfortable with your appearance, or simply have very fair colouring – whatever your concern, you could make a dramatic change in your life with a brow enhancement. Many people suffer confidence-loss as a result of their eyebrows – or lack of them – men and women alike might avoid activities with family and friends, turn down all kinds of events, shy away from taking part in sports, and skip anything that involves water… is this sounding familiar?
With permanent cosmetics there really is no reason to carry on missing out.
The first part of the process is a thorough consultation. We will talk with you in great detail about the look you are trying to achieve and what we might recommend to you. This is very much a two-way conversation. We listen, we respond, we advise. Once we have an idea of the look you are aiming for, we draw the brows on with a makeup pencil. These can be drawn on and adjusted as many time as necessary! We will never begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy with what they are going to look like.
Using a state of the art microblading tool tiny precision hair strokes are created by hand, mimicking the natural direction and lengths of your brows. Pigments are then implanted into the channels created by the microblades in the dermal layer of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but you should not feel any discomfort. Initially, the area will look 20-30% darker than the colour you have chosen in consultation, but this will fade within 3-4 days to reveal your chosen colour. The treatment generally takes around 1-2 hours and will leave you with highly defined, ultra-realistic looking brows.
Using a specialist facial tattooing machine, which works at a much lower frequency than a standard tattoo machine, we gently apply pigment to the skin using very fine needles. The sensation is that of an electric toothbrush being held against your skin – you feel the vibrations but you should not feel any discomfort. We will always work with you at this stage, giving you breaks if you need them. The process normally takes about 1-2 hours, but it varies from person to person depending on your individual requirements. Immediately after a brow treatment you should expect the area to look 20-30% darker than the colour you have chosen in consultation. This will start to fade after 3-4 days.
If you have lost the natural pigmentation and/or definition in your lips, it is possible to add subtle definition to faded lip contours, or create fuller lips using a variety of techniques. We can even create the look of fillers without the need for painful injections! Whatever your reason, permanent lip enhancement could be the solution for you.
We can create anything from subtle lash enhancements to perfectly defined eyeliner treatments. We can give you a perfect classic pencil look, a liquid-liner with a perfect flick, or a sultry smoky-eye. You could even try something more elaborate with two-toned eyeliner or ‘butterfly’ shading! However subtle or dramatic, an eye treatment can transform your morning routine – just get up and go!
A complimentary second appointment is scheduled 4-12 weeks after your first treatment. This is usually a 15-60 minute appointment to add more pigment to the brow area. This is because as the area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ as well as others and you may have a few patches that need touching up. This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, we advise you always come back for your retouch.
